Carmen MacAngus

Physiotherapist

BScPT, Acupuncture, Certified Gunn IMS, Spinal Manipulation, Integrated Systems Model & Thoracic Ring Approach, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Carmen completed her Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2002 but her quest for knowledge did not end there. She has a love of learning which has led her to a certification in Spinal Manipulation, Gunn IMS, and Anatomical Acupuncture. She has taken additional courses in pelvic health and running injuries.

In 2014 Carmen was drawn to the ConnectTherapy™ (LJ Lee) and TheThoracic Ring Approach™ (LJ Lee) assessment and treatment models developed by Dr LJ Lee. Her passion and skill in these models has allowed her the opportunity to be a junior teaching assistant for these courses and is always enthusiastic to discuss how they have changed her practice and her life. This training has provided her with a framework to assess and treat the whole person, locate the driving causes of pain and dysfunction that are specific to your goals. These models in conjunction with her previous training have given Carmen a unique skill set that enables her to provide truly personalized care. An explanation of the ConnectTherapy and The Thoracic Ring Approach can be found in the following links: ConnectTherapy and Thoracic Ring Approach.

Although originally from Saskatchewan she has enjoyed working in British Columbia and Alberta. Carmen enjoys spending time with her family outdoors hiking and camping. She loves to dance and has learned a variety of Latin and ballroom dances but her greatest passion in dance is West Coast Swing.
