Renee Poloprutsky

Physiotherapist

BScPT, Certified Gunn IMS, Spinal Manipulation, FCAMPT

Renee Poloprutsky has over 25 years of clinical experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries from acute sprains or strains to spinal injuries such as motor vehicle accidents to more complex multi-area pain and body involvement. She enjoys treating a wide cross section of patients from children to seniors to weekend warriors.   Renee is well versed in helping patients who are going through interventional injections and prolotherapy and can treat both in clinic or virtually.

Renee has a hands on approach to treatment. She feels the right combination of manual therapy, dry needling, education and specific exercises will help her patients get back to moving painfree and doing what they love!  As most problems are multifactorial, she focuses on delivering a comprehensive, individualized approach to each patient.

Renee feels one of the best parts of physio is getting to be a life long learner.  She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy with distinction.  She achieved the highest designation of Manual Therapy, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapy in 2002 and her Gunn IMS certification in 2000.   She has taken and continues to take numerous courses and conference over the years that have added to her expertise as a therapist and her ability to use current evidence based practice approaches.   Her most recent courses included a strength and neuromuscular conditioning course, running injury and prevention, advanced mastering of the shoulder, neck and concussion and clinical pearls in the treatment of chronic pain.

Outside of work Renee is a busy soccer and dance mom who likes to hike, ski and cook!
