Jackie graduated from the University of British Columbia where she completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology (2013) and Master of Physical Therapy (2015). She is certified in dry needling (UBC Gunn IMS) and Acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada.
Enthusiastic about learning, she has completed many additional courses in manual therapy, soft tissue release, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation and TMJ therapy, among others.
Early in her career, Jackie worked with multiple sports teams, including providing game coverage for multiple hockey teams and college basketball. While working with these athletes she developed an interest in concussion, which led her to pursue further training in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Post-Concussion management. Jackie has completed many courses in Concussion and Vestibular rehabilitation, including the Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency Based Course (Duke University, 2022).
She has an interest in orthopaedic, neurological, concussion and vestibular conditions. Always eager for a challenge, she has a passion for complex cases, and loves helping her clients achieve their full potential. She is committed to guiding her patient’s progress through the journey from injury to recovery and return to activity. Jackie uses a combination of individualized patient education, manual therapy, dry needling and exercise to empower her patients to reach their goals.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys photography, cooking, and hiking with her husband, young son and two Bernese Mountain Dogs.
