Lecia Poole graduated from the University of British Columbia - Okanagan in 2019 with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics. She has since completed the STOTT Pilates course for both mat and Reformer and has continued her education in prenatal and postpartum Pilates. She is eager to utilize this knowledge and help her clients with better movement and exercise skills.
Lecia has had a passion for health and fitness since a young age, obtaining a certificate in Performance and Visual Arts at Central Memorial High School in Calgary. She also participated in dance and athletics as a member of the Color Guard in the Calgary Round-up band and the Calgary Stetson Show Band. Her primary motivation is to work with people to improve their general health and fitness, as well as their mobility.
Exercise during pregnancy in general can help with fatigue, can maintain or improve muscle strength and can also help improve mood and reduce postpartum depression.
