Born and raised in Kelowna BC, Vanessa was exposed to the many sports and activities the Okanagan has to offer. Once she became introduced to weight training, the complexity of the human body and the way it’s capable of moving fascinated her. This, combined with her passion for helping others, led her to pursue a career in Massage Therapy.
Vanessa graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2018 and practiced as an RMT in BC for 3 years. Throughout her career as a Massage Therapist, she’s found a passion for helping people recover from injuries so they can get back to doing the things they love, whether that be within their occupation, tasks of daily living, or getting back to their favourite sports or activities.
Vanessa loves to collaborate with clients and create dynamic treatments, keeping in mind that each body is different and shouldn’t be treated the same. She’s eager to apply her knowledge and uses a combination of myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point release, and Swedish massage in her treatments.
When she’s not at the clinic, you can find Vanessa anywhere from local restaurants, at a park playing spike ball, or scoping out the best location to watch the sunset!
